ECONOMIC ANALYSIS

Economic analysis is an import step in the development of large scale infrastructure related projects. These analyses serve as critical tools for public sector decision makers to validate the hypothesis of a project’s ability to make a positive impact on an economy. In doing so, the economic analysis also serves to support the justification and approval process for the use of public funds and resources toward a given project, be it in the form of grants, subsidies, or public sector debt.

Capstan’s professionals bring their commercial, operational, and financial experience together to perform rigorous economic analyses that yield defensible results. We follow U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), U.S. Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and other internationally recognized practices when conducting this type of analysis.
