BRAD JULIAN, PARTNER
Brad Julian is a founding Partner of Capstan Consulting, LLC. Brad’s experience in the maritime, logistics and transportation industry spans over 20 years with specialties in Public-Private Partnerships (PPP), project development planning, investment, financing, and management of large scale maritime and logistics infrastructure.
Brad’s previous experience includes 9 years with Maersk Line and APM Terminals (under the A.P. Moller-Maersk Group). He began his career in terminal operations before being appointed General Manager of Business Development for the America’s from the Company’s European headquarters where he led strategy and M&A activities for the America’s region. Brad returned to the U.S. to work at the World Bank on a two-year special assignment where he advised emerging market government clients with structuring port reforms, PPP’s, and related port infrastructure financed projects. Upon completing his term at the World Bank, Brad joined Aeroterm, a transportation infrastructure and industrial real estate focused private equity firm. Brad then formed the maritime and transportation management consulting firm Julian Associates LLC in 2008. Brad holds a BS degree in Marine Transportation with a Minor in Engineering as a former licensed Ships Officer from the US Merchant Marine Academy. He has also completed an Executive MBA from MCE in Brussels and Financial Engineering courses from IMD Switzerland.
